OK, so what is the official CIA conspiracy story about Obama? I've heard the CIA blamed for falsifying his birth announcement in the Hawaii newspapers, sending him to school to play some rich kid with a Cadillac in Indonesia, and smuggling him from Kenya to Hawaii as an infant. Why, exactly, is the CIA so interested in shuttling this mixed-race baby around the world in the 60s and 70s?

You didn't answer my question — "the CIA" is a convenient, powerful, shadowy force that can be used to explain anything, given the right mindset. (Where did the UFO records go? Who shot JFK, MLK, etc? Were the moon landings real?) But it doesn't make sense for there to be a conspiracy unless there's a compelling motive. What motive would the CIA have for shuttling Obama around as you've described when he was a kid?
The 60s and 70s were incredibly busy years for the CIA — why would they spend time on some random mixed-race kid of an anthropology grad student? Are you saying they planned it all along, placed false birth announcements in the papers, set him up with a fake Dad in Indonesia, then later blackmailed the GOP governor of Hawaii, etc, just so they could arrange for him to become president? How did they know when he was born that he was going to be a good student or politician?
Trust me, no one will "disappear" you for typing the story you heard. I'm just curious why "the CIA" is always the culprit for birthers. The worst that will happen to you is some people might make fun of you in this thread.
E Howard Hunt claims that the CIA and LBJ conspired to kill Kennedy and approached him. YOu can choose to think it is possible or you can mock it.
You can mock the idea that the Dunham family was some how involved with intelligence or you can think it is a possiblity.
