He took Lorazepam and they noticed he was sleepy ? No $hit. I took a single, itty bitty one of those things and turned into a zombie in less than 5 minutes. If he popped a whole mess of them, he'd have been unconscious. No way you can operate a vehicle even with one pill, nevermind an alcohol chaser.

The conservative Republican who ran against him, Don Moge, a great guy by the way, lost to Wood by all of 200 or 300 or so votes.
I’m willing to bet there’s some buyers’ remorse in Western Wisconsin right now.

Wood was encouraged to vote for the Democrats’ ridiculous state budget bill, and he did. There is speculation that because of his shennanigans he’d lose his next election but get appointed to a newly-created budget-included state job for NW Wisconsin as a reward for his vote. Keep your eye on his future and see if the Dems paid him for his vote with appointment to that position.
