Who said you were a troll?
What I like about Beck is that he’s making people think. He explained the McCain = Teddy Roosevelt progressive thing yesterday.
And I disagree with him, too...but it did make me think.
Before Glenn explained it this has been something that bothered me about McCain for a very long time.. he always, always brags about being a TR Republican and TR WAS a progressive.... the last thing we need or needed was another liberal Republican president, that likely would have been the final nail in the coffin called the GOP.
I sure don’t disagree with Beck having a hard time voting
for McCain. I did, too. If it hadn’t been for Sarah.......
Nobody said I was a troll. Perhaps I was a bit too defensive...fending off a future charge perhaps. Sorry if I offended anyone.
It’s just, at times, you get to liking a conservative figure and we’re so desperate for anyone out here in the desert as we are, leaderless as the pubs we elected man the tanning booths, reach across the aisle and hobnob at the DC cocktail parties, that we tend to avoid any criticism. This is particularly true, at times but seldom on this thread, on FreeRepublic.
If you’re all interested in scuttlebutt...I listened to Levin last night. He was SCREAMING that McCain was not worse than Obamer and what a dumb thing that was to say. Lots of others took great exception to that comment, especially in view of the fact that it was made to Katie Couric. THAT’s the salt in the wound.
Now I know Levin is jealous of Beck but he thinks that Beck’s COMMON SENSE was an outright theft of his book currently on the bestseller list. And while I haven’t heard Ann Coulter say a word, the woman did write a book called “How to Talk to a Liberal...If You Must” and now we have Beck with his talking to an idiot book.
I take no sides on any of this...I’m just gossiping.
I still love Beck...nothing will change this. I love Rush more, then Beck...then Coulter...then Levin. Unless I change my mind.
