WASHINGTON, Sept 23 (Reuters) - The head of the U.S. Central Command, Army General David Petraeus, said on Wednesday that both he and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen had endorsed an assessment by the top commander in Afghanistan that says more troops would be needed.

"Obviously I endorsed, the chairman endorsed... Gen. (Stanley) McChrystal's assessment and description," Petraeus said at a counterinsurgency conference in Washington.

Gee, and Obama said in March he had devised a new strategy. Apparently that strategy is to fiddle-f*** around in a fog.

This is going to be his Vietnam, though I wish it were his Waterloo...

He is going to get many of our children killed while he ‘fiddles.’

It’s good the three commanders are on the same page, Obama has to act or look like the fool he is. Present won’t cut it.

What we have is civilian rule over the military. Afghanistan is fine if we had any money. We don’t and I don’t care about nation building. Annihilate the poppie fields with round up and leave these ragheads to kill each other.

If he isn’t going to go with his commanders because of political reasons, for God’s sake let him throw up his hands and say I quit and get everyone out and don’t let anymore die and we’ll all wait for the attacks here and elsewhere in the world.

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have been tough and heartbreaking but the troops were incredible and Bush could make decisions clearly without having to consider politics, his base, or his legacy. He made decisions that he thought would win the wars and we were sure of that, and he cared deeply for the country and for the men and women who were keeping us free and safe. I just have to cry most days lately. Pray and cry.

“I just have to cry most days lately. Pray and cry.”

I’m with you on that. Today was especially hard with 0bama at the U.N. *SPIT* and all that.

He’s SUCH an @ss. And a clueless, dangerous one at that!

Those are just a few of the many words for him and his ilk. His arrogance is stunning.
