ACORN CIVIL SUIT MAY PULL BACK THE CURTAIN ON ACORN ITSELF
Remember less than two weeks ago, James O'Keefe dared ACORN to sue?
On September 13, during an appearance on FOX News, O'Keefe, the young independent filmmaker who went undercover with partner, Hannah Giles, demanded an ACORN apology and practically called the tangled web of community organizers "wimps"--or worse.
The independent filmmaker whose hidden-camera videos prompted the firing of four ACORN workers is demanding an apology from ACORN for calling his work a fabricated "scam" and daring the activist group to take legal action against him."Bring it on," filmmaker James O'Keefe said Sunday on FOX News. --Filmmaker Demands Apology From ACORN for Claiming Undercover Video 'Doctored'
Today ACORN complied. [It's On! ACORN Sues O'Keefe, Giles And Breitbart]
Was this part of the carefully-orchestrated roll-out of the videos by Andrew Breitbart?
Breitbart certainly seems to have thought this through a lot more thoroughly than ACORN's Bertha Lewis, whose story has changed almost daily in response to a continuing onslaught of damning information.
Breitbart, in BREITBART: The politicized art behind the ACORN plan:
Videos of five different ACORN offices in five separate cities would be released on five consecutive weekdays over a full week - Baltimore, Washington, New York, San Bernadino and San Diego. By dripping the videos out, we exposed to anyone paying attention that ACORN was lying through its teeth and that the media would look imbecilic continuing to trot out their hapless spokespeople.

The discovery phase of the proceeding should be very interesting.
The dripping is smart. Andrew probably knew this lawsuit would happen.
Glenn Beck today was showing the connections between ACORN and SEIU and they are the same group and Obama *IS* ACORN.
But but ACORN’s leaders were praising them the other night for uncovering this!
ACORN has world class lawyers. Trust me. This will be a battle.
I thought I'd heard that he had like 48 hour's worth.
This is when America really needs “loser pays.”
And just how much thinking do you suppose that will take?
Uh, maybe ACORN needs to consult that unparalleled Constitutional Law Professor and former ACORN Counsel Barack Hussein 0bama, to find out what the word “discovery” means in a civil lawsuit.
I’m sure Breitbart will also get some of the brightest legal minds in the country on his side- discovery will be a blast!
We also need an investigation into whether or not these scumbag lawyers bringing this fiasco are being paid with U.S. “stimulus” dollars.
It was stated that there were “over 48 hours of videos”.
...and I imagine what is in them is somewhat worse than what has been revealed.
I think they’re waiting for the other shoe to drop—or another ACORN foot to be inserted in mouth.
It will be a battle—but one that has to be fought at some point if we’re to have honest elections country-wide again.
At least there’s plenty of ammunition to fight with.
I totally agree!
Where ya been??

I wonder if there is another video related to this? I’m guessing that AB had James egg them into a fight, just to call Bertha The Hutt out onto the carpet, into the light were the cockroaches hate to be?
It’s a stalling technique. They will try to get a court injunction against releasing any more video.
It all will depend of if the Judge that gets this case is an “in the tank” leftist. If he allows broad discovery by both parties, ACORN-NUTS will be very messed up by this.
If it is assigned to a Judge with an agenda to protect leftists in making a slap-suit, it will drag out and cost the targets a lot of money to defend for a very long time.
I’m with you. This will be very ugly before it gets better. But it will get better.
However, ACORN had Obama as a lawyer. That says something. I wouldn't trust Obama to defend me on a parking ticket.
Acorn is likely looking to get a gag order.
