Some more BIG truth. The world apparently has a big stake in our HR3200.
I had been examining all the proposals in terms of their impact on market forces and the inevitable consequences and now this. At the most fundamental level, congress is forbidden by the constitution from legislating in the area of health care except where interstate commerce exists.
States, in accordance with their own constitutions, may treat health care as their citizens see fit but, as you and I would read the constitution, congress’ hands are tied. I would insert some witty irony here but it is all so tragic. Enacted or not, the long train of abuses and usurpations continues unabated.
