... She also criticized the U.S. Federal Reserve's massive intervention in the economy over the last year, arguing its actions only exacerbated the crisis, according to another attendee. She also praised the conservative economic policies of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan and former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. ...

Thanks for the links. My only slight disappointment from the reporting: the apparent utterance of the dread ‘nucular’!

Hari Sevugan, a spokesman for the Democratic National Committee, said Tuesday the group knew little about Palin’s speech.

“We’re curious as to what she’s willing to say in private but not in public,” Sevugan said. “Are there other countries that she can see from her window that she doesn’t want us to know about?”...

Now why in the world would they care what she said? they beleive she’s just a bimbo anyway.

GEEZ!!! You read it too. This crap makes me sick.

There is not a doubt in my mind she made a good impression there and probably surprised a lot of people with her real wisdom becuase I doubt they expected much from her, and I also bet she made a hell of a lot more sense than bambi at the UN today.
Take THAT to the bank.

I hope the official transcript of her speech is put on Facebook before long. She’ll almost have to do that as the media will undoubtedly distort whatever is already being leaked. A video of the speech would also be great.

I hate these people.

Do you really expect them to honor her?

I post her links to SarahPac every day on FreeRepublic. Like many, I was not really aware of her until she was chosen to help McLame. When she spoke to the RNCC, I was in love. I wasn't lusting after her body, nice though it is. I was INSPIRED by someone, once again.

That is why she can win!

I love to study Sun Tzu, as well...

From "The Art of War" -

... 19. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.

20. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him.

21. If he is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. ...

22. If your opponent is of choleric temper, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant.

23. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them.

24. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.

25. These military devices, leading to victory, must not be divulged beforehand.

26. Now the general who wins a battle makes many calculations in his temple ere the battle is fought. The general who loses a battle makes but few calculations beforehand. Thus do many calculations lead to victory, and few calculations to defeat: how much more no calculation at all! It is by attention to this point that I can foresee who is likely to win or lose.

I think the notation about "more slams on GOP" may explain it. She is speaking to people who understand the meaning of words! These are REAL money people she was speaking to, not a table full of $political donors. These people are like EF Hutton, "when they speak , people listen"... and when they listen, they hear it all!

That’s right. The idea has been drummed into us by the “journalists” and the democraps that Palin “ruined her career” by resigning her governorship, so then why do they care about her?

Its funny they try to ignore her but can’t, they criticize her for every word, but continue to listen to every word.
They are so afraid of her, they don’t know where she is coming from next and they know they can’t handle Sara so they freak and jump though hoops every time she says something.
They are scared to death of her, and really can’t think of anything to rebuttal so they criticize her.

They were salivating to portray her as a bomb-thrower lunatic conservative. When it didn’t happen, they were disappointed and called the talk ‘boring’ and ‘standard conservative’ stuff.

Liberals are like an ex-girlfriend who keeps telling everybody who wants to listen that she has moved on and doesn’t care about the ex-boyfriend, but every single issue would come back to the ex.

One of Sarah’s Facebook friends wrote on her wall that a friend of hers who was in the audience told her that Sarah got a three-minute standing ovation from the crowd.

Not bad for a tough room of Clinton Global Initiative investors...
