The above is one of the many ways someone like Mr. Obama was able to become president. A man that's never run so much as a lemonade stand somehow became the leader of the world's only superpower. Unbelievable!

Their rhetoric seems intended to make the white man sorry he ever enslaved the black man. Their actions seem intended to make his sorry he ever freed them.
My father was taking a college course in his 40s when a female student came to him asking him to fix a problem with her locker. He couldn't figure out why she was asking him until she said, "Aren't you the janitor?" So being white doesn't necessarily mean you can't be mistaken for the hired help.

Speaking for myself (and I am unanimous in this) WASP-ish men may have had certain advantages over the centuries but there is no racist angle involved and we should certainly not feel guilty or ashamed about who we are. People of all colors have been mistreating other people for ages.
Then I get up, it's 5:00 A.M. already and fix breakfast, walk the dogs I rescued from euthanasia, drive my 11 year-old car to the job I got because of the two degrees I earned by working my way through college and grad school and then, 10-11 hours later I come home to the house I bought and paid for without a liars-loan. I give a thought, many times each day, to my wife who died of breast cancer and left me to finish the job of raising our three daughter and then, after I fix the dinner from the groceries I bought, I read a bit and fall asleep overjoyed at my exalted status as king of the f'ing world.
I've got it so blessedly easy because I'm a white male.
It’s not only higher education. When my youngest was in middle school they forced them to attend an assembly where they were lectured to by some black guy who told them they should feel GUILTY because there weren’t enough blacks in their school.
When I spoke to the Principal about it she said she didn’t know that really happened because she wasn’t THERE to hear it. Nevermind that my daughter and her friends all reported the same thing.
I hope they NEVER do this at work. I’d get fired for sure.
