President Barack Obama is deploying a new weapon in his battle to overcome opposition to his health reform plans - his wife, Michelle.
The First Lady had remained in the background since the Obamas entered the White House, mostly confining herself to activities such as planting an organic garden, focusing on her daughters' education and caring for the family's new dog, Bo.

Does anyone really think Michelle’s sob story last week changed a single mind on healthcare. “My first thought was thank God we have insurance?” Give me a break. Maybe if the story had been that they didn’t have insurance and had to scrape and beg to come up with a way to pay and eventually declare bankruptcy then the story may have landed and had impact. But “Thank God we have insurance?” Sorry, I can’t imagine anyone other than the usual MSM Obama zombies were at all affected by that manipulative, cloying piece of tripe.
And now that it looks like this may have been a tall tale with Barack saying it was Sasha and not Malia who they suspected of having meningitis, you have to question if the whole story was nothing but a pathetic political concoction—not that the media will examine the inconsistency.
