A convicted sex offender is permitted to contact the victim.THAT'S what's wrong with it-lovers or not.
She was a underage victim at the time of the offense.
I guess what i'm saying is,why even register this person as a sex offender if all is forgiven and the offender and the victim decide to resume a relationship? Sounds dumb to me.

Oh, I agree.
I am just pointing out the loophole in the law that probably informed the judge’s decision. Probably a case of they wanted to, but the law says they cant.
