In the wake of Fox News reporting on the unfolding ACORN scandal, ACORN is now threatening to sue the network. Now that Fox is actually breaking news on this story by showing new videos, ACORN might just do it. Fox News should pray that ACORN does sue, because it would blow the doors off this story, possibly destroying ACORN and erupting into a political scandal in Washington.
As bizarre as it seems, ACORN is threatening to sue Fox for reporting on these incriminating videotapes. Glenn Beck broke news with a new tape on Monday, and Sean Hannity might be doing the same shortly. Evidently, ACORN is accusing Fox of coordinating with the filmmakers, arguing that somehow these reports make Fox legally liable.
ACORNs unavoidable problem, however, is that suing Fox News would give Fox or any other media organization the ultimate Christmas present: a legally enforceable way to compel ACORN to give up all its secrets. (snip)
It could also become a massive political scandal in Washington. Two of the individuals on ACORNs eight-member advisory board include John Podesta (the chairman of President Obamas transition team after the election) and Andrew Stern, the president of SEIU who is intimately involved with the White House on numerous issues, including the health care plan. Some Democratic elected and appointed officials also have close ties with ACORN. (snip)
So ACORNs legal actions would be its undoing. The resulting exposure would explode into a national story that even sympathetic media outlets could no longer ignore, bedeviling ACORNs allies at SEIU and even dragging top advisers to President Barack Obama into humiliating legal proceedings.
And once top ACORN officials were put on the witness stand under oath, who knows what the American taxpayer would learn?

The part on the under-aged prostitution ring begins about 4 minutes and 30 seconds into the 35 min audio segment. And it continues on at about 11 mins into it (following other news). Note: you can slide the bar over on the site's audio player to the 4:30 mark in order to skip pass the other stuff. Audio of Charlie Gibson's inexcusable ignorance on this latest ACORN scandal is on there as well (after 5 days into it!).

There is a lot more to this than meets the eye. I saw that Acorn has now thanked the students for pointing things out to them. WHAT? It’s bizzaro world.....
If ACORN’s lawyers see this, and they will, perhaps FOX should just go ahead with a suit on slander.
That was just Bertha running her mouth.
They won’t screw with Fox.
Apparently they leave a whole lot to the cables!
The WH political director, Patrick Gaspard, used to work for ACORN....
Wait for Congressional hearings which will be a white wash. My guess is someone will be thrown under the bus but the bus will continue to roll on...this dummocrat money train will not be allowed to go into obscurity...too much money and political influence for that too happen.
I blame part of this on the GOP because when they were in control, they let this lefty group alone because of racial politics. Washington unfortunately has never come to grips with the simple concept of right and wrong. Decisions seem to rest on political shading (pun).

We need to turn some of our frustration and protests towards the complicit media.
They have FAILED MISERABLY in their traditional role as watchdog.
They didnt ask any questions, even now they arent asking the tough questions.
Americans are coming to a point where we wont ever rely on the main stream media for our information again.
Good ol’ Charlie “uh” Gibson
AGREED,the GOP under Bush didn’t have the “nuts” to go after
Acorn because of race.Speaking of race,I have to get back
to discussing race with my cats(black). They’re smarter then
the average dem!
If they try to sue Fox or even OKeefe & Giles, they will open their Pandora’s Box for all the world to see.
It’s called Discovery...
So I say, sue them ACORN
I’d say that picture was racist...I think you are implying that squirrels are stupid and trying to create hatred of squirrels.
I don’t see what the issue is.
When a non-profit organization uses federal dollars to: A) fundraise, and; B) promote one party’s political agenda, they have committed two felonies. As it is being done on a multi-state level, it is eligible for investigation under the RICO statute.
What else do we need to begin?
Why does he look SO DARK in that picture and now he looks BEIGE.
No clue. Just something I grabbed from the internet.
