...grassroots activists realize liberals in Washington are "dimming the lights of opportunity for our kids and grandkids."

Unfortunately, the liberal pansies that are supposed to be representing the states and districts that sent them to DC have no moral compass.

The Republican agenda summed up in five words: “Give us our power back.”

“Congressman say America in political rebellion...”

Yeah. The electorate is going to fix everything, in 2010, by voting for more Democrats to fix everything.

Yup.

The stimulus bill (written by the Apollo group) was the first shot fired by the administration on their own people. It seems the only enemy the administration can find are of the domestic variety.

When the people find out Obama tried to delay the Afganistan report for 6 weeks while he tries to ram socialized medicine through there will be hell to pay. I do not think the public will accept our troops getting killed for Obamacare.

“Boehner said he is focused on taking the gavel away from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi..”

While I applaud his efforts to stuff a rag in Pelosi’s mouth, I urge him to flog Republicans incessantly. THEY, and the enemy media that enables the DemonRATs, are responsible for the DemonRATs being in power in the first place. We don't need any more doddering fools like McCain reaching across the aisle to enable socialism. We are facing the end of our freedoms at the hands of communists that are hell bent on buying themselves a permanent voting block. Health Care must be defeated, Crap and Trade must never see the light of day, and Amnesty must never even reach the floor.
Obama is on 24 / 7 campaign tours to destroy us, we must be pushing back twice as hard.

Boehner said he is focused on taking the gavel away from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi

And what do the Republicans plan on doing with it? Eliminate political correctness and thought control legislation? School choice? 50% less social programs? Liberty for the tax slaves? Freedom for banks, insurance, auto, health, and all private industry again? Are they actually going to work for us this time, or will it still be about the Washington politicians and their own lives of power and luxury?

What will the Republicans do to free us, the people, this time? We've had just about enough big government. Time for a real "change " in Washington. No more oppression. No more lies.

Political rebellion won't happen until we get the actual “bill” for the government rendered services.
No one has seen any actual money taken from their paychecks yet.
When the bill comes due for health care, bailouts, and cap and trade, Then you will have your rebellion.

Good work John. I’ll be sending him another note of support. He’s been speaking for us. The goal of getting the gavel out of Pelosi’s crooked hands is job 1. Getting Obozo from behind the teleprompter is next.

Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson would not recognize the political parties today, but they would sure be right at home in the battle of big government elitist vs. small government conservative/libertarians.

Boehner better worry about getting HIS party in order before anything else.

How many years did they have the majority, and they sat there JUST like democrat fat-cats doing nothing.

WE voted them into office and they did NOT represent us.

He needs to stop worrying about taking ‘power’ back and get the Republican party together and organized and focused and ready to DO some WORK for a change.

Sadly, Republicans are partly to blame for the current mess. During the Bush years when they held serious power in Congress they were little better than the Democrats in spending money and the first bank bailout was on George Bush’s watch. However, the Democrats fresh from Obama’s victory and their retaking Congress went on an orgy of new spending that has piled up debt that even our great grandkids will have to cope with. Fortunately the voters are waking up and are mad as hell.

“House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) says the country is in the midst of a “political rebellion” because his Democratic colleagues are “bankrupting America.””

He’d better be looking in the mirror, there may be a target on his back. I don’t want politicians I want honest Strict Constructionists. I don’t want large government Republicans.

Said rebellion is of a political nature... for now.

Boehner said he is focused on taking the gavel away from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi — and during the debate over the” stimulus” package, some House Democrats accused him of being disrespectful for dropping the massive bill on the floor. The minority countered, saying “What's disrespectful is wasting $800 billion and expecting our kids and grandkids to pay the bills.”
++++++++++++++

Oh, they can call us names, they can call us nazis, they can call us terrorists, they can call us nut jobs...but don't you dare drop our albatross monster bill on the floor (what is it, their Bible - ohhhhh...don't answer that..)

What a bunch of crybabies and juvenile delinquents.

The RNC will have my attention when they start talking about cleaning up the GOP, getting quickly back to small government, and restoring state/federal balance more than they whine about getting back into power. And that’s exactly what I told the solicitor wanting $200 bucks from me.
