Are the News Media Scared of ACORN

I no longer pay any attention to my local newspapers.

When ignoring the story doesn't work, the next recourse is to distort or spin the news in order to regain control over the story.

Sounds like a tactic of a certain religious Organization that is mentioned on FR frequently.

Is the fringe media in bed with Obama, Clinton and raducak communists everywhere? Yes. Nuff said.

I did a quick search on ACORN FUNDING SOURCES and the first hit was an NPR blog (of all things) that had a decent run down of the major sources or funds.

There are the various gov’t agencies (HUD, Justice, etc.) and SEIU but also the Bauman Family Foundation, Soros’ Open Society Institute (of course), the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, JPMorgan Chase Foundation, Bank of America Charitable Foundation and the list goes on and on.

ACORN and its affiliates will not be shut down until all sources of funding dry up.

Not surprising to find banks on the list, since it’s a shakedown organization. I might expect Gates to withdraw funds after this comes out; they tilt PC, but never the hate-filled radicalism of Soros, Ford, etc.
