"She passed the bar exam and has a license to practice law in California. "

California is the only state in the Union that admits people to their bar that haven't graduated from an ABA accredited college - for good reason. Even with admittance to the California Bar, she would not be hired by the US Attorney's office, nor would she be admitted the JAG corps in any branch of military service.

If she had a competent legal education, she wouldn't make such fundamental and rudimentary mistakes like failing to execute proper service on the defendant (for over 8 months, no less), failing to sign her pleadings (multiple times in multiple cases) and failure to include her bar number in motions to the court. These are the signs of GROSS incompetence. It's not at all surprising she's facing substantive monetary sanctions.

Her and 216,000 others. Whoop-de-do. Chasing 4500 ambulances. As I've said elsewhere, just because one passes the bar doesn't necessarily mean they're qualified to practice law.
