I have been trying to find when the Democrat Party became the Democratic Party. I was wondering if it was at the same time the Socialists and Communists became the Democratic Socialist Party of America. Just seems too convenient to now have the Democrats called Democratic.

Absolutely true! They loooove to parade around their ‘open’ elections. ‘Our people voted for slavery and oppression!’ Even some on Fox say we’re a democracy. At least Krauthamer says, ‘constitutional democracy’ *sigh* Why can’t they say we’re a constitutional republic with a democratic electoral process?
