I hear it (Lawerenceville) used to be nice. It was very nice and very safe blue collar neighborhood until until they got Section 8 housing. Same thing happening now in Sharpsburg across the river.

I work downtown. Protestors gathered at the corner of Grant and Fifth around lunchtime. I walked past them. There were about 25-30 “kids” didn’t see anyone older than 20 or so. Also looked like they hadn’t bathed or changed clothes since the last G20 summit. Their “signs” were ripped pieces of cardboard (not even cut into a square) and they apparently used black magic marker. It was pouring down rain, so the marker ran and none of the signs were legible. Pretty funny if you ask me. Clueless what they were protesting about. I think they are clueless too.
