G-20 'Everywhere Protest' List Includes Restaurants, Stores, Strip Clubs
MSNBC ^ | 9-18-09

An Internet list includes names of businesses, government buildings and university structures around Pittsburgh that protesters apparently plan to illegally target during the G-20 summit, Team 4 investigator Jim Parsons reported.

Many of the 100 sites are in the East Liberty, Shadyside, Oakland and Lawrenceville neighborhoods, away from the site of the global economic summit, which will be held Sept. 24-25 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center downtown.

Actually, that’s what they are hoping for. At least the ring leaders. They want it broadcast around the world. And they will be wearing masks thanks to the City Council. So unless thay get caught red handed doing something and taken in to custody on the spot they’ll get away with everything.

this morning that they discovered a 55 gallon drum in a deserted house that some of the protestors had been living in. It contained human waste.
Sounds like both the 55 gallon drum and deserted house contained human waste.

"Looting, rioting and garbage can only make Lawrenceville look better..."

Good point. Sometimes I drive through there on my way to work when I don't want to deal with 28. I hear it used to be nice.

I can’t see how this thing could possibly be profitable for the city of Pittsburgh. Closing parking lots, schools, businesses, not to mention the pay for the cops and the clean up. Another stupid move for Pittsburgh politicians.

They won’t make it past the strip joints. You don’t mess with strip joint bouncers.

The Cheerleaders in Philadelphia is owned by the Pagans Motorcycle Club.

Hmm...bikers versus the anarchists. I smell a video game in this one.

My neighbor worked during the RNC convention and his job was to stand atop a squad car behind the lines and look for felony level offenses. When he witnessed one, his job was to shoot the rioter with a paint ball, hopefully where it would be tough to wash off. They kept a note book identifying what the person did according to the color of paint he shot them with.

I know it led to several arrests for the weekend but I'm not sure of convictions.

I thought it was an interesting way to deal with the masked anarchists striking in large groups.

What does "illegally target" mean? Will they be protesting outside these joints? What's illegal about that?

We've been seeing so many nice, polite conservative "Tea Party" protesters lately that we've forgotten what the word "protest" means to the other side.

These "fresh-faced idealists" are the G-20 mob visiting some evil capitalist business they targeted.

I live in Pittsburgh, and I think the police have no idea what they are going to expect. This isnt going to be a bunch of rowdy, drunken Steeler fans, these are hardcore nut jobs.
Pittsburgh will look like Berlin after the Russians took it. I live in Southside I think the smell of teargas will be smelt here.

"...They will, as soon as they pick up their pre-printed signs from the organizers..."

When I saw your comment, I thought people in this thread might like to see the analysis I did last Sunday night on a thread called A Tale of Two Protests

Your comment is spot on, and I did this analysis because what I saw in Washington DC on September 12, 2009 illustrated a vast difference in liberal versus conservative protest content, values, and execution.

To me, one of the most amazing aspects of this protest by conservatives was the character in a manner in which individuals expressed themselves.

It was nearly impossible to find two signs that were exactly the same. There were many signs that expressed the same themes, same concepts, same bits of art, and sometimes even the same phrases. But with the exception of 20 or 30 signs that DC chapter handed out, and some identically printed signs from other organizations, it was impossible to stand there and pick out two identical signs anywhere.

The other aspect of this that amazed me even more was the unbelievable variety, creativity, wit, and emotion. Viewing this parade of signs, the parallels of conservatism and individualism were completely and totally expressed in the creation and display of these statements.

Conservatism and individualism are inseparable from each other. And the more I thought about it, the stark contrast with liberalism and its endemic groupthink became strikingly clear.

I recalled the gathering of Eagles counterdemonstration to the march on the Pentagon by liberal antiwar groups on March 17, 2007. And then I remembered that as an observer watching their parade of signs go by, one of the overriding impressions is that there was a bland, boring uniformity to both their message and the expression of that message.

So, when I got home after driving back to Massachusetts from Washington DC, the first thing I had to do was look up some of those old pictures. I was a little handicapped by only having low resolution images, so it was difficult for me to find an image that I could clearly see the signs that they were carrying. I found one image, and I did a quick, unscientific examination of the image. The results were exactly as my memory had preserved it.

I did a side-by-side examination by finding an appropriate photo from this past Saturday, and evaluating it in the same fashion. I did not cherry pick the image, except to try and ensure that it showed a similarly large group with their signs facing in the same direction and readable. I've posted these images below for comparison.

I took this picture at the Gathering of Eagles in 2007. I hate these people. I taunted them for the pussies they are. I detest liberals, but these people have a special circle in Hell reserved for them.

Darned right wing extremists! /sarc

Seriously, though, I wonder if one of them will bring a ‘tea party’ style sign as a false flag...

I especially like the way they put the "journalists" out in front. My guess is the guy with the blue puffy jacket probably had a "legal observer" credential of some kind.

I know its not nice but I sincerely hope this was in their future:

I work about 2 or 3 blocks from this club which is located around 31st Street on Liberty. Hope to get some good pictures next week.

Why wait? Get some good pictures now. If anything happens, you can publish them as 'before' and 'after' pictures.
