I’d always regarded the Phoenix new times as a stoner/hippy rag.

They are. In the old days, the Obama Administration would have been exactly the sort of entity that a stoner / hippie rag would have gone after. Or any self-respecting investigative journalist for that matter.

About the only things keeping the Obama Administration from 10,000 stories like this appearing in leftist rags across the country is race and ideology. The race thing is wearing thin as the novelty of having a black president is fading fast. Ideology works best when you're giving campaign speeches, talking in generalities. When it comes to actual governing, Obama's walk doesn't match Obama's talk

Admitted setting of bombs to avoid killing people?

In the spring of 1974, the Weathermen claimed credit for a bomb that exploded on the 29th floor of the Gulf Building in Pittsburgh. It was left behind a reception desk by the elevators. It exploded in the evening but I forget exactly what time.

My boss was working late that night on the 28th floor. He was in a corner office far enough away from the explosion so wasn't hurt. But he may have been hurt had he chosen that moment to leave work and waiting for the elevator a floor below.

Someone from the cleaning crew may have been hurt severely or even died had they been vacuuming or dusting right where the bomb went off.

I thought this at first as well. But then I got thinking...

We'd have McCain now who wouldn't be a whole lot better.

But all of these things about the left that are now being exposed to the American people who were asleep last year would still be lying dormant.

Now that the truth is coming out (and the subsequent reactions such as the town hall meetings and the 9/12 march), perhaps conservatism will go on the rise and we can reclaim our nation again.

We may be suffering the bad in order to regain the good.
