Obama feeds allies to bear
NY Post ^ | September 18, 2009 | Ralph Peters

STILL determined to "push the reset button with Rus sia," President Obama hit the delete key on our allies in Eastern Europe.

Obama's decision to abandon missile defense as we know it, cutting the throats of Poland and the Czech Republic, handed Moscow's hard-liners their biggest win since the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Russian strongman Vladimir Putin insisted all along that we'd never be permitted to deploy an anti-ballistic missile system in the former Soviet empire. He was right.

And Obama got nothing in return. No Russian commitments on Iran's nuclear program. No sovereignty guarantees for Georgia. No restrictions on arms sales to Venezuela. Not even a bearhug.

The ONLY thing Zero has done that makes any sense..

and I repeat:

It would be a little helpful if people would ditch the Cold War mentality. Eastern Europe is just fine and “Evil Russia” is not gonna invade.

Helllloooooo!!! those days are over.

Just in case anyone failed to understand what the missiles that were to be placed in Eastern Europe were supposedly for... It was to “defend” against threats from the MIDDLE EAST.. Iran in particular. Total BS..

In reality it was a plan on the part of some idiots who long for the “good ‘ol days” of confrontation between Russia and the West... when they could sell expensive missile systems and make a lot of your money.

Had the dimwits in foggy bottom not had their collective heads placed securely in the dark smelly regions between their fat buttocks when the Soviet Union collapsed we could now be enjoying a great and productive relationship between us and Russia. Instead they let an opportunity handed to us on a silver platter by Ronald Reagan at the cost of BILLIONS of dollars...go straight down the toilet.

In my opinion the most tragic diplomatic blunder in American history.

And Poland wouldn’t take Hillary’s phone calls. No doubt, when the dust settles and Russia’s trampling on Eastern Europe with jackboots, Zero will blame GWB.

Were the proposed systems intended to defend Poland and the Czech Republic from Russia? Seems to me they were being billed as defense against “rogue states” (read Iran) for the USA. Russia threw a big sh*t fit about them, but the truth was they were too small to do more than slightly reduce the amount of bouncing rubble from a Russian attack.

Probably at one of the colleges he allegedly attended. When are the American people going to force the issue and question his authority to make such long-lasting and dangerous decisions regarding both ours and our allies safety?

He is acting like a third grader at Disneyland with a pocketful of “E” tickets. This stupid decision will put the entire world in danger of Communist oppression/takeover. Disarming the U.S. at a time when we should be showing force seems to be his agenda. I pray we wake up before it’s too late.

Obama is a very dangerous man and needs to be exposed quickly.

That’s not as silly as you might have meant it to be.

I understand Bummer was being groomed through his grandparents who were consummate commie lefties.

Either Zer0 is so far out of his league or he is intentionally aiding and abetting his communist buddies in the Kremlin.

Well when people like my best pal are willing to believe the truth. He is so blinded by hatred of Bush he can not accept Obamas backgroung. Absolute denial. He repeats every MSNBC talking point. I think he is slowly becoming aware and I have planted the seed. It is going to be a real shock to his system.

We cannot trust the demrat party to protect our national security and national interests. Their loyalty is to their party only. Funny thing is that if we are attacked again, they won’t be in power anymore, neither will the repubs. It will be someone else pulling the strings. We will go from a manchurian president to a manchurian government. Thanks dimrats and your media.

I have no idea whether Czech or Polish folks read or can translate FR, but to them, I am so sincerely sorry for the behavior of the punk POTUS, who is so naive, and is so blind to history that he has no understanding of what these two people went through during the USSR invasions.

I think I can sadly say that the USA is now the new France.

Democrats have, at best, been very hinky when it comes to foreign policy.

“Ever hear of Georgia?”

I live in Eastern Europe... Georgia is not in Eastern Europe. That conflict between the two has been ongoing for a while, and we have stuck our nose in it for the same reasons I mentioned in my earlier post. The desire on the part of some idiots who long for the cold war days.

If Eastern European leaders had not risked their lives and flown to Tbilisi, Georgia would currently be part of Russia.
