Enough said. However there is a firebrand named Mike Church who broadcasts on Sirius satellite radio. Worth a listen.

Rush did start all of this in any event. No one can deny that.

Amen to that - what a non-sensical conversation.

Rush and Glenn are two different people with two different messages. As far as I can tell by listening to both - they are not in competition with each other.

I believe Rush has paved the way for a lot of conservative talk and that’s why the left wants to get rid of it.

Frankly, I think Rush would be willing to say that he’s grateful that Glenn and others are continuing to build on the framework he has started.

Bully to them both - and I pray they will never stop.

The way I look at it, is for so long it was Rush on the National level, and then whoever your local area conservative host were that you enjoyed listening to when Rush was not on. Now you have four power houses in conservative radio, Rush, Levin, Beck, Hannity, five if you count Savage.

For the Lefties it must be like the scene in Gremlins when water was poured on the first one and it duplicated over and over gain.

We need every conservative voice; just as each appeals to certain ears, each has a style some people find irritating. So the differences are assets, not shortcomings, when it comes to reaching & persuading the maximum number of people. We don’t have the luxury of stoking rivalry- as the saying goes “we must stand together or surely we will all hang separately.”

Interesting note: I run flyball with my Belgian Sheepdog, and Border Stafs are a big deal in flyball- the smarts of a border collie, and the muscle and compact frame of a pitbull. Extremely fast dogs.

You know, you really shouldn’t promote this sort of thing, comparing and promoting animosity between conservatives.

My intent was not to promote anything. FR isn't a place where we only read the articles we agree with and sensor the rest. As is obvious, nobody here has fallen for the author's premise and instead sees it for what it is. As expected.

I posted it because I think it shows that the left is fearing the rapid rise in popularity of Glenn. He is attracting new blood to the conservative movement and has been instrumental in taking down one czar so far and ACORN.

I listened to (and watched when he was on TV) from the beginning and don't remember a time when another rising star was ever compared to him. Of course, their styles - and more importantly - their objectives are entirely different. As has been said, we need them both in this fight.

I am not biting and I suspect most conservatives will not. A few will, but most are smart enough to realize what they’d like to do here and will instead support both. I’m not playing this game of trashing allies in an attempt to win some popularity contest. How ridiculous. They just want a fight to break out here so we won’t spend time effectively bringing Liberals and their policies down.

Two entirely different things. Beck is an investigative reporter and pitbull. Rush is a thinker and strategist who loves to talk about what he finds out. Any speculation about competition between them would be just that—speculation.

Rush created conservative talk on the radio. He paved the way. Anyone remember ‘Rush Rooms’ at their favorite lunch spot?

If it wasn’t for Rush, none of these folks would be where they are today IMHO.

This stupid little dust-up is what it is, stupid! We’re all on the same team people as far as the target, which is defeating socialism/communism. Divide and conquer indeed. Keep your eye on the ball, folks.

This isn’t about personalities. It’s about preserving our freedoms and as many as we can get on board to shout it from the mountaintops. Stop the squabbling, kids! We can go back home you know. The only problem is the 0bama administration is waiting for us if you don’t get over your petty arguments.
