Reuters reports an interesting nugget in the wake of President Barack Obama's decision to grant Vladimir Putin his wish and kill the Eastern European missile shield:
Shortly after the pullback on the shield programme was announced, Russia's government said Prime Minister Vladimir Putin would meet several U.S. executives on Friday from firms including General Electric, Morgan Stanley as well as TPG, one of the world's largest private equity firms

GE sucks up to Obama while sucking up TARP funds

General Electric, the world’s largest industrial company, has quietly become the biggest beneficiary of one of the government’s key rescue programs for banks.
At the same time, GE has avoided many of the restrictions facing other financial giants getting help from the government.
The company did not initially qualify for the program, under which the government sought to unfreeze credit markets by guaranteeing debt sold by banking firms. But regulators soon loosened the eligibility requirements, in part because of behind-the-scenes appeals from GE.

If a connection can be proved between Obama ditching the anti-missile shield and GE’s impending Russian deal it could be Obama’s Watergate. This is how the Clinton’s operated for eight years and resulted in the Jamie Gorelick “wall†being erected between CIA-FBI information sharing. Glenn Beck will have fun with this one.

Btw, Jeffrey Immelt is on Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board. Immelt was also recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the New York Federal Reserve Bank.
Oh, and GE hired Linda Daschle (Tom Daschle’s wife) as a lobbyist.
Bill O does stuff on Hussein and GE all the time....this should be emailed to him.
