I celebrate law abiding citizens killing intruders. Every time.

If somebody, anybody, wants to defend themselves, I don't care how or where. That's their decision to risk. Another good quote:

Yes it most certainly IS a cause for cheers. The left wing editorial board of this paper would have Americans follow the State of Kalifornia “run from your home and let the thugs have whatever they wish” rules of self-defense. The inability of our newest Supreme Court justice to find a right of self-defense in the Constitution does not mean we should ALL kneel to the criminals. Nor should we allow liberal editorials to suggest that running or perhaps begging for mercy will bring better nights of sleep to members of the only TRUE victim class. Most victims would be dead upon following the lefts rules of engagement. But then the left could lament the unfortunate upbringing and social injustice faced by the hoodlum. Makes for a much better salve for those bleeding lib hearts than a citizen standing up for his life and property.
Me, too. The only thing that could have made this story better is if the modern-day samurai had placed his assailant’s severed head on a pike in his front yard.

Burglars do deserve to be killed, especially when they 'lunge' at you. The method of their death is irrelevant. Personally I don't care if the honest citizen uses a flamethrower.
Come to think of it I'd probably award extra Style Points for that.
