ACORN and corruption go together
The American Thinker ^ | September 17, 2009 | James Simpson

The shocking ACORN videos produced and distributed by James O'Keefe, Hannah Giles and Andrew Brietbart reflect the founding purpose of ACORN: creating chaos to overwhelm the system.

As I reported last September, and as Glenn Beck and others have reported since then, ACORN was created specifically to execute the Cloward Piven Strategy of manufactured crisis across our country. This series of videos demonstrates in microcosm how ACORN workers promote the strategy.

By agitating for mortgage loans that the borrowers could never repay, ACORN and similar groups were primarily responsible for the conditions that led to our current financial crisis. This is not speculation or partisan blather, but a matter of historical fact, extensively documented in last September's article and many, many others.

ACORN was the name, the game was “activism” (kind of like grown up king of the playground)

Something tells me investigations will find corruption is not isolated to just ACORN but other groups with close ties to ACORN and into various levels of government. It’s all the more reason people need to contact and demand their politicians investigate ACORN.

ACORN is spending taxpayer dollars to help crooks set up whore-houses and crack-houses in poor neighborhoods. The people who raise their families near the crime caused by ACORN’s misdeeds pay a price for it.

I seriously doubt any investigation will ever find any corruption, other than isolated incidents. I am not saying there is no corruption. I believe ACORN is an actual threat to our national security. I just don't believe any investigation will have any power behind it to expose the truth. It's all corrupt up there. I believe if any corruption is found that Obama will continue to protect them. Not because he believes in them or supports them, but they are his end to a mean. He wants total chaos in this country. He wants everything overthrown. Best way to do that is with racial strife. They are trying to goad this racial dissension into place and will not stop till it happens.

YES! The following is a quote from this same article...

...”This was how federal prosecutors obtained a conviction against Drexel Burnham Lambert Junk Bond magnate, Michael Milken, on much flimsier evidence. An in-depth investigation of ACORN assisted by the power of the RICO statutes, conducted by seasoned prosecutors untainted by Democrat Party or Obama administration connections, would likely produce evidence of rampant corruption both within the Obama administration as well as the Democratic Party at large. There has been a symbiotic relationship between ACORN and the left wing of the Democrat Party for decades at this point and a particularly close relationship between Obama and ACORN.

It is almost a foregone conclusion that the Eric Holder Justice Department will sabotage any investigation before it gets that far. Holder has already unilaterally halted prosecutions of Black Panther Party members charged with voter intimidation, has initiated investigations of CIA personnel who conducted — under orders from superiors — rendition interrogations on al Qaeda terrorists, and has called us a “nation of cowards,” overall, presenting himself to be the Van Jones of the Justice Department.

With his lies, insulting remarks to the American People, and his blatantly self-serving, corrupt and indescribably destructive policies, Obama’s administration has already demonstrated itself to be utterly devoid of integrity, so there is little doubt they will seek to hobble any investigation of ACORN. But if the relationship between Obama, the national Democrat Party and ACORN can be cemented in the public mind, and if ACORN and its subsidiaries are at least denied the billions provided for them in legislation passed by Obama and the Democrats, they may be prevented from stealing the 2010 elections, which is the Democrat game plan as it stands right now”...

Question:
I wonder what Eric Holder’s relationship is with ACORN.

Answer:
Protector and official bus tosser if things get too hot. I wonder what it is like being a friend of Obama and knowing you are only a friend until you are worth more gone

ozero made the rare but truthful statement that we would know him by the people he surrounded himself with. We do not have a President of the United States. We have a president of the dimrat party who is acting in the best interest of their party. Hey micheal steel, feel free to steal this line and use it.

So here's the recommendation: RICO ACORN, right now. Seize all their assets. Seize the assets of their many hundreds of subsidiaries. Seize the assets of Wade Rathke, his thief brother, and all the top executives. Let them squeal and squirm for a little bit trying to figure out how they will support their lavish, parasite lifestyles without income, and then start asking the real questions.

I've been saying that for a while now. RICO brought down the 'mafia'. 'The Chicago Outfit' is now a shell of its once powerful self thanks to RICO and.. US Attorney, Patrick Fitzgerald. (yes him)

It is almost a foregone conclusion that the Eric Holder Justice Department will sabotage any investigation before it gets that far.

Yep. He'll try. But that wouldn't work on Fitzgerald. And if Barry fired him the feces would strike the ventilator ('Heck', Barry can't can't even fire him now). So make Patrick Fitzgerald a Special Prosecutor again. He'll break up ACORN, that's guaranteed. From top to bottom people will be filling up Federal Prisons from coast to coast.

An aside: When the GOP takes back the WH in 2012, job #1 for the new U.S. AG is to prosecute Eric Holder for Obstruction of Justice! (and any other crimes or malfeasance)

I'm aware many FReepers detest Fitz for Scooter Libby(1), but he's the BEST U.S. Attorney ever to hit Chicago!

(1) that had me baffled too.

Nothing to be baffled about. Fitz is effective but he is also a major glory seeker.

Glory thing aside for a moment, It was the way he went after Scooter when he knew the real culprit. That's the baffling part. He doesn't do that here. He nails the lower rung perps for real crimes. Not that lying to a Fed investigator stuff.

Now as to Glory seeking -- The way he's cleaned up Chicago, from the Mob to RAT and GOP crooks, he could have been on TV almost daily, he wasn't.

And he's far from finished, Blago alone will open a Pandora's Box on IL corruption. From Chicago City hall to Springfield, 'The Combine' cronies are all looking over their shoulder. This includes mayor Daley.
