Just who exactly will investigate acorn???
just a question | 17SEP'09 | mapmaker77

Posted on 09/17/2009 1:57:12 AM PDT by mapmaker77

With a couple of student journalists ripping the scab off of the stinking boil on the body politic that is acorn, who is best suited to investigate what is clearly the biggest political scandal since Watergate? Eric Holder's DOJ? Yeah, thats' a hoot, as he won't even look into documented intimidation by nightstick wielding thugs outside of a polling place on election day. The FBI?, in a perfect world that would work, except that DC is perfect only in the same way a swamp is, it tends to eat the weak and give up only stinky noxious gases. Budget considerations take precedent over every other item on anyones agenda, and we all know who controls the budget. SOOO... That just leaves us with the congress, does anything else really need to be said?

We need to demand that a special prosecutor be appointed immediately.

. . . who is best suited to investigate what is clearly the biggest political scandal since Watergate? Eric Holder's DOJ?

Holder doesn't have time. He's too busy pondering investigations into issues of terrorists' civil rights -- you know, the investigations that 0 said his administration was not even considering.

What the 0 administration doesn't get is that it is reaping the fruits of the democrat party's own seeds. Unruly protests, petty sniping, snapping at the heels until a weak point is found. Pretty standard democrat stuff which has been turned on them.

They need to be real careful about what happens when re-opening of investigations into previous administrations becomes de rigeur. After 2010, they might find themselves being investigated in a large way, with Acorn as the opening for a deep and far-reaching investigation by House or Senate committees.

Hmm. Two democrat presidents in a row impeached? As long as we're making history . . . .

Don't you know, the special prosecutors are all busy investigating the CIA?

Exactly. Otherwise Holder will have a lackey flunky do the investigating and it will be a whitewash.
ANYONE have any confidence in Holder or anyone in this administration to do a through investigation of acorn?

Maybe they could contract out the work to the distinguished law firm of Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Then it would be independent. /sarc

I’m sure that the same people who are “investigating” the case of the Black Panther voter intimidation” charges will be sent to investigate ACORN. The matter will die a quiet death under our esteemed “Judicial leaders” and the complicit msm.

Wow, good line! In the movie Conspiracy Theory, I think Mel Gibson made a similar statement (can't remember what he was talking about, but I can remember a similar phrase.)

Maybe, if enough agencies independently investigate the huge rotten octopus that is ACORN, then their fear of being one upped by the other agencies will drive them to do a good job.

Hopefully, we have hit critical mass and either patriotic civil servants or political motivated ones will carry the ball forward and help restore civility and some honesty. I know. It is a big hope when considering the Democrats (ACORN) has dominate control of the senate, house and executive branch. I wish the Republicans had not been so spineless and corruptible when they had control.

Don't worry, WE, The American people will be leading the investigation.

If they will not do their job, WE will do it for them.

Let’s do it ourselves, and send the overwhelming evidence to Congress!

Congress won't help - they're part of the problem. We need to investigate and turn the overwhelming evidence over to the people. Show the connection between many members of congress and the ACORN thugs and we can clean both up simultaneously.
