I hear that Rush Limbaugh is telling people that they have no choice but to drink the Republican Kool-Aid in the 2010 elections. Given the track record of the forces still in control of the Republican Party, this is tantamount to saying that we let the American republic go gently into the dark night of National Socialism.

As long as the liberal GOP carries water for Obama, I ain’t voting for a dang one of ‘em.

Dr. Keyes should be well aware of the Ross Perot effect.

Maybe we can sit still in 2012 but if we don't vote these Communists out of office in 2010 the Republic is done for.
Keyes is wrong.

You won’t vote even for the good ones because of the bad ones? That is unwise in the extreme.

And just think I was an Alan Keyes guy ONCE!

The election of 2010 should be like the Passover recounted in the Bible. Only the politicians bearing the mark of true conservatism should be passed over by the conservative angel of political judgment.
Read the whole article. As usual AK makes sense.

Alan, if conservatives can’t take over a party, how the hell are we going to take over a country?

I’m still a Keyes guy. He’s one of the most principled conservatives around. The man just has no idea how to win elections.
He should found a think tank.

Instead of pouting in 2009, conservatives should be working now to get conservatives in the primaries next year, then get out and VOTE in 2010.
If we sit out 2010 or go third party, we give the RINOs the party, lock, stock and donor list.

He never said that. He said he’ll support truly conservative Republicans.
If you’re a Republican still, and you want your party to survive the next two election cycles, it’s easy: only nominate conservatives.
Not the Leftists your party is pushing with the rank and file’s money: folks like Trey Grayson in KY, Charlie Crist in FL, Meg Whitman in CA, Mark Kirk in IL, etc.

I see unanimous GOP opposition to 0bamaCare, among other things.
That said, I would like to see the GOP start speaking up more against 0bama, and that begins with John Boehner stepping aside and Mike Pence assuming the Republican Leadership in the House

I am working to put conservatives on the ballot, including Republican ballots. But if the Republicans nominate anyone but true conservatives, they're then on their own, as far as me and everyone I politically associate myself with are concerned.
If we sit out 2010 or go third party, we give the RINOs the party, lock, stock and donor list.
They already have it. Wake up.

Once Mark “Cap and Trade” Kirk and Charlie Crist are elected to the Senate and in a position to run for President the GOP will be just fine!! Oh wait...
