Why don’t the decent people get the hell out of those places?
I ask God why again. A decent, good kid helping his family and community and he is taken in such a horrible manner. How sickening.
Events like this and the shooting of the preacher in Georgia don’t inspire confidence.

Where are they going to go, and with what? It may be all they know. I’ve seen people of much better circumstances that haven’t been 100 miles from their “home” and are scared at the prospect.
They would be better off in any of the thousands of small towns across the nation. Minority kids can thrive here, not all do, but the option exists if they choose it. No place is perfect, but most are far better than the inner cities.
