European Union leaders said they're considering a visa ban for leaders of the June military coup in Honduras.
The EU countries are considering the legality of barring officials of Honduras's de facto government from traveling to the European Union following the ouster of Honduran President Manuel Zelaya, the EUObserver reported Wednesday.
Spain already already barred Honduran officials from entering its territories.
"Until a peaceful settlement is found, the EU will stand ready to take further restrictive measures including targeting those members of the de facto government who are seen to be blocking progress on a negotiated solution," ministers said in a statement issued Tuesday from the EU headquarters in Brussels.
The statement also expressed "deep concern" about reports of human rights violations, and said EU members would curb political contact with the post-coup government....

Tell a lie enough times and it becomes accepted as the truth...
I won’t even bother going into all the things that are flat wrong about this story.
oh no
EU and demoRATS are always on the side of the dictators and evil.
More communist helping other communists. Pray for God to help Honduras, and miraculously take care of them...God bless Hondurans!
Yes, please pull their visa’s for removing a political moron who had repeatedly violated their national constitution. =.=
The EU is full of liberalist moronic idiots and wimps and is inevitably doomed to implosion in the near future.
Gonna do to ‘em what they did to Serbia.

I am loving Honduras more & more, as they literally stand alone against socialist-fascist regimes like 0bozo, Chavez, Castro, the EU, Spain, etc. These socialist-fascists are scared to death over just one hint of courage & integrity & strength, to stand up against these marxist socialist-fascists bullies & thugs. As we all know from school boy days, the best way to defeat a bully is to physically stand up against the thug(s) and they will scatter like sheep.

It's Europe.Western and Central Europe to be precise. They just don't get it.Eastern Europe gets it...because memories of oppression...REAL oppression...are still very fresh in the minds of its citizens. The EU has had the luxury of living under the umbrella of *our* Armed Forces for 64 years now.I say that we publicly...and formally...declare that we will no longer protect the EU and that we will withdraw *every* member of our military and close every installation there.
Yes. Only Islamic terrorists should get visas. Ask the EU.
Thanks
The commies of the world just aren’t going to let up on Honduras. A free republic based on the rule of law cannot be tolerated under the new world order.
This is as much of a coup as if Obama decided to ignore term limits (not beyond reason), and Congress and the Supreme Court ordered the DoD to remove him from office, and replaced him with Nancy Pelosi (horrors).
Wonder what houses go for in Honduras?
I hate Obama. I hate him, I hate everybody in his lousy administration, and I hate Zapatero, the Spanish PM.
I don’t think Zapatero’s government will be around for long; the communism he supports (to the point of having all Franco statues removed) has reduced the country’s economy to a shambles. At least the homosexuals can get married there, though. /s
and you know what, now Spain has ruled that the honduran Supreme Court is wrong and that it must be punished.
It makes me upset to hear that they had sanctioned the presidebt of the supreme court and the JUDGE that issued the order.
Who are they to tell that they are wrong and Zelaya is right. They have no idea of our internal laws and procedures, and they don’t even bother to take a look to them and the facts that led to the substitution of Zelaya.
It really is bizarre; the interim president is from Zelaya’s own party, and is subject to sanction. We really did screw over a lot of “allies” once the Cold War was over.
