ACORN Conduct 'Indefensible,' White House Says
Politics Nation @ RCP ^ | September 16, 2009 | Kyle Trygstad and Mike Memoli

Asked for the first time today about the infamous ACORN footage, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs called the conduct of some of the organization's employees "indefensible."

"The administration takes accountability extremely seriously," he said. The U.S. Census Bureau's decision to sever ties to the group reflects that, he added, with their view that the group "could not meet the bureau's goal of achieving a fair and accurate count in 2010."

Gibbs would not say, however, whether President Obama would, as the leader of the Democratic Party, urge the DNC and other campaign committees to sever ties to the group...

They are being punished for everything the community organizer taught them.

Obama: I think it’s pretty clear that these ACORN employees acted stupidly [by getting caught and ruining it for the rest of us].

Really, this gets better and better, Obama cannot defend them and if he disassociates himself
it only makes his other allies watch THEIR backs!

He was planning on funding them with
billions of dollars to be his core group,
it’s tough when a plan falls apart.

As an added plus, any investigation will certainly
reveal more about Obama than he can afford
to have known.

Bwhahahahah!

Yes zero, it’s very bad for your old employer. But you’re still going to send them 8 billion of our tax dollars, aren’t you?? You are absolutely the biggest disgrace in this country’s history.
We can only pray that we survive your reign and get some sanity restored in the country when you’re gone.

"The administration takes accountability extremely seriously," he said.

Someone make sure Rush gets this and beats the Administration over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over with it for the next 3.5 years.

I hope this sound clip makes it to every soundboard in the conservative world.

It WILL come back to bite them in a a$$.

...Robert Gibbs called the conduct of some of the organization’s employees “indefensible.”

Limited hangout position. The WH didn't condemn ACORN, just "some of the organization's employees".

IOW they hope they can throw every employee that was caught on tape under the bus, wait a while and get back to business as usual.

Problem is, if it's just a few bad apples in the organization, why was similar advice given in offices hundreds of miles apart? A cynic might conclude that the offenders acted under specific guidelines from the home office, not on their own. The fact that the sting worked in so many locations proves ACORN is corrupt all the way to the top.

The idiot who claimed to have killed her husband isn’t a low level office lackey. She’s some kind of district supervisor of some sort.

There are something like 40+ hours of unpublished video. It's not going to go away.

The administration is now throwing ACORN under the bus. All the voter fraud and other corruption up to this point was just fine, nothing to see move along, it was just voter fraud, everybody does it in Chicago.
