Not the first time Jimbo’s caused The One some grief at an inopportune moment. Remember when he decided to go hug it out with Hamas just as the general election campaign was kicking off last year? “The president does not believe that — that the criticism comes based on the color of his skin,” Gibbs said. “We understand that people have disagreements with some of the decisions that we’ve made and some of the extraordinary actions that had to be undertaken by this administration and previous administrations to stabilize our financial system, to ensure viability of our domestic auto industry.”…

No fear. Obama has already done more damage than Carter, and he’s just getting started.

The White House realizes that they are overplaying their hand on the ‘racism’ charge so early in Obama’s presidency.

The more they use it the less shock and impact it has to the point, people shrug and realize its just a partisan attack rather than a valid issue.

Maybe Mr. Obama has concluded that old white men can be jackasses, too. The last things he needs is the help of Jimmy Carter.

This is orchestrated by Obama. It’s the good cop, bad cop approach. Don’t be fooled. I can’t believe people are actually falling for this. Think, people!

Where’s the picture of the guy at the 9-12 TEAParty rally last weekend who was carrying a sign saying something like “No Matter What I Say, You’ll Just Call Me Racist”?

The White House realizes that it is the only hand they have left to play.

I think Carter is the first one to actually be
thrown under the BUS. The rest are just hiding
under the tip of the iceberg.

Thank you Glenn Beck for the analysis.

Yep. Makes the One seem “above it all”, even though I’d bet he holds the same views.

Don't forget Maxine...she had to get in the action.

That giant sucking sound you hear is the Democrats' agenda dissipating.

Gibbs is lying. Obama feels exactly that whites are out to get him because of his race.

He has always felt that way . Jeez look at his record. and his friends.

Jimmy Carter has developed a truly amazing capacity to offend EVERYONE, except a few Palestinian activists who just think of him as a “useful idiot”. Seriously, I don’t there’s ever been a former US President — dead or alive — who commanded as little respect as Carter. I’ve said before that I really think his mind is going fuzzy, and that his close relatives should be taking steps to keep prevent him from making public statements, just as Nancy Reagan with Ronald fairly early in the decline of his mind. I don’t even like to vent disgust at Carter’s outrageous statements, because I think of him as a feeble-minded senior citizen whose family is neglecting their duty to protect him.
