Twelve percent (12%) of voters nationwide believe that most opponents of President Obama’s health care reform plan are racist. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 67% of voters disagree, and 21% are not sure.
In recent days, several Democrats have suggested that racism is a factor. The most prominent to make that accusation is former President Jimmy Carter.
Eighty-eight percent (88%) of Republicans reject the notion that most of the opponents are racist. So do 78% of voters not affiliated with either major party. However, just 39% of Democrats share that view. Twenty-two percent (22%) of those in the president’s party say that most of the opposition to his plan comes from racists, and another 39% are not sure.

Only one percent (1%) of those opposed to the health care plan believe that most of the opposition comes from racists.
Among Obama’s strongest supporters, those who Strongly Approve of his job performance, 35% say most opponents are racists, 32% disagree and 33% are not sure.
Among African-American voters, 27% say most opponents are racist, 25% disagree, and 48% are not sure.
Fifty percent (50%) of white Democrats reject the charge of racism, but 15% say it’s true.

Thats really interesting considering that the black population makes up 13% of the entire US.
I say that 100% of the blacks who support 0bama are racist.

Well lets see here. 13.5% of the US population is black and exit polls showed 96% of blacks voted for Obama...so doing the math in my head gives me 12%. Yep, makes sense to me.
Those who are making this about race (the left) are undermining and diminishing President Obama. Do they believe he was elected on his merits or because of Affirmative Action? I’m sure President Obama has no problem with being opposed for his Marxist, Socialist policies and friends—he’s tough, he’ll stand up for his and Chavez’s principles. But to say he is opposed because he is black, is lame and no longer has the effect of shutting people up. Liberals need to be told “we are sick and tired of Americans being called racist just because they disagree with this president.”

According to the poll, only about a 1/4 believe Opponents are racists, so it’s not them.
This is horrible news for the dems since Liberals make up between 22-27% of the electorate, but the poll is showing only 12% of all voters believe us to be racists. And since most of these people are more then likely libs and lefties that means barely half of them believe the crap that the DNC and friends are peddling.
In the Presidents defense, he is actually not the one who is peddling this. It is his allies in congress and the media and everyones favorite President to hate, Jimmah Carter.
The scary fact is, America’s most liberal President ever is actually to the right of Congress where the most damage can really be done.

If the protestors were motivated by racial hatred against Obama, wouldn’t have made more sense for them to gather outside the White House, rather than in front of the Capitol?
What we have done is develop a country dependent on handouts. The health care industry DOES need a fix, IMHO, but it should mirror the automobile insurance industry to get there. There should be personal responsibility for health maintenance. Take a look at America: It is a nation of big, fat slobs. Those who take care of themselves are becoming fewer and fewer (and I tell you this as one of the ones who has health issues brought about by smoking and bad health habits0.
If health insurance companies mandated yearly checkups and based premiums upon good health management, the market place would naturally take care of the health crisis because people who practiced good health maintenance would pay less, while people who didn't would pay more--just as drivers with bad driving records (speeding, DUIs, etc.) are penalized by auto insurance companies.
Additionally, just as with auto insurance companies there probably could be a pool for "uninsured motorists" to help hospitals but the uninsured would need to be billed just as they are in auto accidents and their wages garnished if they have to go in for hospital treatment.

Now, in light of the LFM (lunatic fringe media) openly lying to American’s ala Brian Williams with no physical evidence whatsoever, the LFM is exposing themselves for the NON-journalistic enterprises they are.
The scorched earth race baiting policy aimed at cruely keeping all the black puppies in the plantation box, cowering white America, or worse starting a race war, pushing some conservative over the brink of physical violence to get the argument back is an EPIC FAIL!
My only concern is what’s next violent infiltrators at rallies?

I welcome the continual playing of the race card because whatever power it had is definitely being diluted.
