Will media expose duplicitous tone of the president?

President Obama continues to assert that no tax dollars will be used to finance abortions in healthcare reform -- but even some in the liberal media say otherwise.

The Washington Post and TIME Magazine -- publications which, in the past, have shown support for the president's policies -- acknowledge the healthcare bills in the House and Senate do include government-funded abortion on demand. Douglas Johnson with the National Right to Life Committee recalls the words of candidate Obama.

"Barak Obama, when he was running for president, promised Planned Parenthood that his plan would cover abortions -- and that his public plan would cover abortions," says the pro-life leader. (View video clip)

Douglas Johnson (NRLC)Johnson says healthcare reform supporters in the White House and Congress are not telling the truth.

"They're telling the pro-abortion groups: don't worry, it's in there just like we promised," he explains. "At the same time they're telling the public: don't listen to these people who are telling you that the government's going to pay for abortions."

Of course no tax money is necessary

obama and congress will just pass laws requiring our insurers to cover any and all preexisting conditions (and many folks will wait until they get sick to demand insurance coverage) and to extend insurance coverage to policyholders who leave or are fired from their jobs.

Then the rest of the insured customers will pay MUCH higher premiums to cover all this. Voila, no “tax” on the middle class.

Of course, as people cannot afford the higher premiums that result from social engineering legislation- or folks cut back on their coverages and more and more headline cases of lack of adequate coverage come to the fore, and insurance companies are forced out of business and premiums go even higher among the fewer remaining.......

more and more populism and calls for “universal coverage”.

It is diabolical

Why is it that I always know the answer when a headline asks, “Will the media expose [scandal here]”?
