I was just thinking, suppose you are a female wannabe infobabe connected to ABC. Dare you say anything which is remotely politically incorrect knowing as you do that Willow Bay is married to the boss and they have all of these associations? If you are Charlie Gibson and you are asked about why you have not reported on Acorn, you know damn well why you have not reported on Acorn but you cannot say that the culture of your television network and of its parent company and the interlocking relationships above that simply would regard you as a philistine if you did.
So even if you started out life in a college that was not Ivy League, as did Mr. Iger, and started out your career as a weatherman and through dint of hard work made it to the top, you eventually become stuck to the spiderweb of interlocking relationships and you no longer can independently think, or even want to. Why become a maverick against an establishment that is working so well for you? At the same time it provides you all the moral justification for your elite status by parading before the world all the right and politically correct positions on race, class, poverty and peace.
We middle class conservatives hardly know the forces arrayed against us.
As bad as he is, I am really surprise some government or secret organization hasn’t moved to eliminate the problem.
