If video evidence of help for would-be felons won't prompt a full-scale investigation of ACORN by Congress, one shudders to think what would.
Political benefits from ACORN's activities explain why alleged voter registration fraud and misuse of federal tax dollars haven't led this Democrat-controlled Congress to probe ACORN thoroughly.
If it doesn't do so now, in the wake of what filmmaker James O'Keefe and investigative reporter Hannah Giles turned up at ACORN offices in Baltimore, New York and Washington, just who actually controls Congress will be frighteningly clear.
On Monday, the Senate voted overwhelmingly -- 83-7 -- to bar the Department of Housing and Urban Development from giving grants to ACORN. That's a start.
But it's no substitute for a full and long-overdue congressional investigation that ACORN deserves. Unless, that is, Democrats actually do support voter registration fraud, tax fraud, immigration fraud and trafficking in teeny-bopper prostitutes.

Going after employees could backfire.
No, because now, the State Offices of Financial Regulation need to go in and audit loan files. The low level employees need to cough up what they know about higher ups.

After all the earlier hype I have to agree, BUT I think they are planning the video drops that way. They now have everyones attention and I think the drop Wednesday on Hannity could be a big one. He runs at 9pm est, it is a border state, got lots of those, and it is running late enough that any immediate response by Acorn is tough.
Then the media has Thursday and Friday to beat it to death...should they choose to do so. If this one is a killer they will have to pick it up and ride it through the weekend.
