Shouldn't the man who played "gotcha" with Sarah Palin be up to speed on this big news story? After all, that's his job!
Remember last fall when ABC's Charlie Gibson looked down his nose at Governor Sarah Palin and tried to sound superior when asking about the Bush doctrine which the Washington Post admits has several definitions? Well, once again it appears Charlie hasn't been doing his homework. He's clueless or indifferent to the biggest corruption story to break yet in the first months of the Obama Administration:

Don: Ok here’s my question, Senate bill yesterday passes cutting off funds to this group called ACORN. Now we got the…we got that bill passing, we got the embarrassing video of ACORN staff giving tax advice on how to set up a brothel with 13 year old hookers. It has everything you could want corruption and sleazy action at tax funded organizations that’s got government ties. But nobody’s covering that story why?

He discreditted himself as far as I was concerned when he asked Palin his half quote question and when she corrected him lied about the quote. And I had never heard of him before he interviewed Palin.

Cut the guy some slack - he is headed out the door and may have checked out, intellectually, some time back.
I'm sure ACORN has been mentioned in one of their meetings where they work out what stories get put on the air. Unless he wants to admit that he doesn't do anything more than read the copy they hand him every night.
Eitehr he’s never heard of the story, in which case he’s abaolsutely unqualified to be a journalist, or he’s lyng, in whcih case he’s only qualified to be a journalist for teh state-run media.
Yes, feigning ignorance is popular with the leftist "news" clique when asked a question the true answer to which would prove embarrassing.
Mr. Gibson's obvious retreat from honesty and candor (by comparison) promotes Sarah Palin; and, defines Mr. Gibson as yet another obedient, lockstep fifth column groupie, wholly-owned by the dark side.
