Dem Congressman: Joe Wilson The New KKK?

What is WRONG with these racebaiters?

"I guess we'll have folks putting on white hoods and robes again and riding through the countryside intimidating people." -- Congressman Hank Johnson (D-GA) Congressman Wilson is the "face" of the new KKK?

These are the words and thoughts of the congressman who replaced the nutjob Cynthia McKinney, famous for slapping a Capitol Hill policeman who didn't recognize her and asked for her I.D. Apparently, she's not the only racebaiting fool in Georgia's 4th Congressional District.

Besides, the only member of the U.S. Congress who DID wear the white hood is U.S. Senator Robert Byrd... A DEMOCRAT!

Hmmmm, Hank must be on to something. A southern Georgia DEMOCRAT obviously knows SOMETHING about being in the KKK.

What an assface.

The Obamunists complain about the Right always seeing communists under the bed, but they never tire of the KKK bogey-straw man.

When was the last act of terror committed by a Klan member?

I don’t know when or where a member of the Klan last terrorized someone, but it was not a good thing.

Do you think that whites would want to elect a black person to office, if everytime they disagreed with them, they would be called a racist?
In that case, only elect white people.
( I am part black- this whole racism defense disgusts me).

“Post-racial America,” uh huh. If anything, race friction is becoming more and more heightened.

I can’t see the video (videos are hopeless on dialup), but if this is the same guy I saw on TV a while ago, he’s an absolute moron. He struck me as being a truly slow and unintelligent individual...I don’t think he can tie his own shoelaces.

Stupid is as stupid speaks. What an asshat. Call the president a liar and we all are wearing KKK garb. If it wasn’t such a serious subject, I would be having great fun with this one.

If Joe Wilson is the KKK just for shouting "You lie!" at obama, then I must be KKK too. Whenever Mike Gallagher or Hugh Hewitt plays a clip of obama I regularly shout "Liar!" and worse at my radio (no doubt entertaining my fellow commuters).

Joe Wilson's KKK: Keen Knowledge and Kindness - keep fighting the good fight!

The point is that the Klan is essentially a defunct terror movement, and constantly complaining about them is a little like worrying about the Huns or the Crusaders.

First they attacked us for being “Wacky” Alan Keyes supporters,

Now they attack us for being racists.

Congressman Hank Johnson just lost the debate. He forfeited it by effectively using the race card, which always results in the user instantly and irrevocably losing whatever point or matter was under discussion.

Why? Because using the race card (e.g, by implying someone's a KKK member or a Nazi,) is a tactic borne of desperation, used solely because the person can find no other viable tactic to proceed to debate the issue on its merits. It's also used in the hope that it will silence the opposition. It's simply a non-violent analog of terrorism, which has the same implications and the same purpose.

You’re exactly right. We know that. But asking a rhetorical question like “when was the last time the Klan terrorized someone?” or a question to that effect, is not a good question. It gives the enemy fodder against us.

This is hard to believe. Have we really moved forward? While wiping out America’s heritage with each generation how is it that we’ve cloned stupidity and race hatred in spades.

Heard this clown on the radio, my impression is that if congressmen had to pass a drug test he would have a big problem. There appeared to be something beyond just stupidity at work in his brain.

"I guess we'll have folks putting on white hoods and robes again and riding through the countryside intimidating people."

White hoods/garb might be in the forefront of this Liberal Elitists thoughts more so from their disdain of those who do so after Labor Day or in the course of their daily work.

It wasn't rhetorical. It was historical.

The KKK is dead as a threat. That's the point, and its a huge one.
