LUCASVILLE, Ohio, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- An Ohio man sentenced for a 1984 killing got another week of life Tuesday after the execution team failed to find a vein to inject lethal drugs.

Executions spent almost two hours trying to find a vein to inject the drugs into Romell Broom, said Tim Sweeney, one of his lawyers, CNN reported.

I don’t know who I have seen do this, but if you hold a person by the hair and saw through their neck the veins are ver easy to find.

If they were unsuccessful once, I do not see how they will be successful a second time. They should give up and use another method. On secnd thought, why is a vein necessary. Just inject it directly into him.

They ought to raffle off positions on the firing squads. You know some rich guy’d pay a million bucks to legally kill someone. Or have the rich hunt down condemned prisoners with one-shot pistols, but give the hunted man a spear or bow & arrow to make it dangerous and interesting. Have the money go to restitution for the guy’s victims.
