I understand some skeptisism about the girl’s story. That’s a whopper. But it is telling about the consistency with which Acorn employees seem comfortable with and around crime, even, apparently, complicit to some extent.

You have a point. It does seem hard to believe that ACORN could be so criminally stupid. One would think that ACORN's white plantation owners would more carefully screen the share croppers. Then again they may feel they don't have to be since they're protected by the lame-stream media, Bawny Frank, and the congressional black cauci.
Glen Beck made sure he told everyone during his show that they could not confirm that she had a husband that had been shot or not. That covers his and the couples butts. You can bet they went over all this stuff with a lawyer before deciding to release any of this stuff.
I’m reserving judgement only until the local PD says that yeah, her husband was shot and killed and they never found out who did it. But she DID say that she did. Sounded right proud of herself, too, telling how she ‘laid the groundwork’.
