MIDI - DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING (click the MIDI and open in your player)
We are marching in the street...Obama can you hear us now
We want our country back and we are gonna find a way somehow
As more people are aware of all the things you want to do
We gain more power and we vow to be stopping you
It's been true in history that freedom never has been free
The brave among us light the torch and fight for liberty
The light is now shining and we'll fight with all of our might
We are marching in the street...Obama can you hear us now
We want our country back and we are gonna find a way somehow
As more people are aware of all the things you want to do
We gain more power and we vow to be stopping you
'Cause the Fourth Estate is dead, the job is now left in our hands
We will not accept a tyrant or bow down to to his commands
The light is now shining and we'll fight with all of our might
We are marching in the street...Obama can you hear us now
We want our country back and we are gonna find a way somehow
As more people are aware of all the things you want to do
We gain more power and we vow to be stopping you
We are marching in the street...Obama can you hear us now
We want our country back and we are gonna find a way somehow
As more people are aware of all the things you want to do
We gain more power and we vow to be stopping you
...be stopping you

A karaoke version would be a better underscore.

Great work Doug, as usual, although I still consider your Reagan tribute to the same tune as your best work ever.
Excellent idea, let’s hear it for Les Miserables and well done on the new verse! Needs to be pursued.

To the Barackades!
Uh, Doug? The link takes me to a page with free midi’s and a spot that says, “Proud to be Democrat”.
Is that yours?

Great job on the lyrics.
:)
Good job, Les Mis is great, the tenth anniversary performance at Albert Hall was one of Public Tv’s few great moments-eventually I purchased it on DVD to avoid all the beg-a-thons.
