"Heart of a Soldier" tells the story of two men who, well before it happened, foretold not only of the terrorist attack of 9/11 but also the 1993 bombing in the World Trade Center parking garage that preceded it.
"One of the men, Rick Rescorla, was chief of security for Morgan Stanley with an office in the World Trade Center. He died on 9/11, but not before he shepherded all but six of Morgan Stanley's 2,700 employees to safety because of a well-prepared and well-executed evacuation plan. He'd have made it out, too, had he not gone back in the building looking for those six.

Unfortunately, I have little doubt that another attack will occur - one that will dwarf 9/11 the way 9/11 itself dwarfed the 1993 WTC attack.
I have little confidence that Obama is taking the actions necessary to prevent such an attack, and have suspicions about his level of interest in preventing one in the first place.
I hope I am wrong.
Another attack will occur. And not just due to Bambi, but the lazy attitude toward our borders and ports over the last 8 years is responsible.
Not sure if another attack will provide The One with a Reichstag moment or undermine him as weak and ineffectual in the eyes of the public. Or both. One thing is for sure, the next attack will crystalize the current events.
Sigh. So I guess it is time to check my Go-bag and make sure everything is ready to roll. Although, if it is a nuclear device over DC, I am pretty much toast.

I am sure and his posse would view such an attack as another “crisis” that needs to be taken advantage of, such as, to impose martial law.
I hope not. That would give Zero the excuse to do what he’d really like to do.
If an attack did occur during Obama’s watch, it would be a perfect time for he and his Czars to completely take over this country via martial law.
With a Muslim/terrorist sympathizer in the White House, I wouldn’t be surprised if they try it now. Hussein Obama could set out on another apology roadshow.

Let’s hope not...if a they blew the device on the gound or in a small plane along East Capital Street between the Dome and Stadium then those working in offices near Dupont Circle would be almost three miles away. As this terrorist bomb would be smaller than the Hiroshima bomb, most of those in the Dupont Cirle area would survive and be in good health years later.
If such a bomb went off from a car parked on the north side of the Tidal Basin, it would hit Dupont Circle harder but some would survive as would many just north of there.
This is what I don't get.
Remember around 9-11 we had those 2 guys in the Washington and Virginia area shooting people in parking lots and gas stations from a hole drilled in their trunk ? Do you remember how it shut down the whole area for like a month? Everyone was afraid to be out in public, ect?
All the terrorists have to do is, that times 100 to shut this nation down. Imagine a coordinated sniper attack nationwide done with nothing more than rifles easily purchased from a gun show or newspaper with no background check.
I don't understand why they haven't done something like that, it would be so easy, and wouldn't involve passing through security or specialized expertise in biological or chemical weapons, ect.

Absolutely. The unity that emerged after 9/11 will not be here after the next one. Obama CANNOT unify me with his minions, he can only suppress me.
A martial law action will be tipping point for the Nation. I will not submit to martial law imposed by Obama. The fight will be on.
If an attack did occur during Obama’s watch, he and his people would be panicking and screaming. I think it's quite possible adults from the military would instruct him to declare a state of emergency and while they took over the situation. Bambi would be taken to a secure facility—and kept there until his term is over.

Expect more restrictive federal rules on private aviation. Imagine TSA thugs at every grass runway airport.
The USSR closed up shop two decades ago.
Any “suitcase nukes” that got away probably haven’t had a whole lot of maintenance since.
Outside the psychological value of “WE’VE BEEN NUKED OMG OMG OMG!!!!!”, how effective are they likely to actually be?
