What began on the border in 2005 has spread to DC and every state in the union. The Revolution isnt coming, it is here. Call it the Constitution Revolution. The genie is out of the bottle and there will be no putting her back in.
I spent all day yesterday up and down Pennsylvania Avenue with people from all over the Union. One guy I met had 45 autographs on his t-shirt from people from 45 states. He only needed 5 more to make it a day.
The mainstream media has reported the rally as anti-Obama or anti-government, both are partially true, but I believe that pro-Constitution would be much more accurate. Pro-Constitution and polite. This was more than a peaceful demonstration. I never heard so many excuse mes and thankyous in my life, and not a drop of litter to be found.

Inauguration Crowds Leave Tons Of Litter
Yup - the "Green" crowd trashed the Mall that day.
It took them days to clean it out.
After the Promise Keepers Rally in 1997, thousands of men volunteered to clean up the Mall themselves after wards.
The park staff and police couldn't believe it. The entire Mall had never been so clean.
I talked to an officer who is in the National Guard. He was assigned to work security for the Obama Inauguration. He commented on two things: it was cold, and some in the crowd were just plain wacko jobs.
Drugs, public drinking, fights, theft, etc. None of that was reported by the MSM. They described it as a big love in. He told me one story of a lesbian woman who had a huge fight with other lesbians who wanted her to "do stuff" she didn't want to. Even though it was freezing outside, she wore almost nothing. He said the fight got violent and one woman was bleeding. Then, bottles started to fly.
He said there were media all around him, and not one story about the incident.
Keep in mind that 2 million people showed up in Washington WITHOUT the media touting the event! (Except for Glenn Beck and the 912 Project.) That speaks volumes about the power of the alternative media!
In a similar vein, on Sunday I met up with an old friend — a retired reporter — who didn’t know ANYTHING about the 9/12 march, Van Jones, ACORN, etc. I was shocked!
If an old newshound (he’s the old-fashioned, honest type) never heard of these stories, then how many millions of Americans are similarly in the dark about what their government is doing?
We need a voice.
An Alinsky rule.
Our country is 1/3 Left....1/3 right and 1/3 “hey, who’s on American Idol tonite”.
been there...
done that...
bought the t-shirt...
That piece of dog squeeze is going to lie to the very end.

Gibbs is like that Baghdad spokesmouth who lied while US tanks were rolling into Baghdad.
I will put her courage and commitment up against the arrogance of the political elite any day.
Bravo, dear lady! They HAVE UNDERESTIMATED US!

Wow, may God touch that dear woman. It is the reality of these stories, all across America, that will drive us on and through 11/2010 and will drive these arrogant nut jobs outta DC.
This civil war has been going on for a long time -
the destruction of the traditional American culture, individual liberty, government at the consent of the governed - all are being destroyed.
Were just now deciding that protecting these things is more important than civility.
The left, long ago, disposed with civility in their side of the war, but held us to that standard in order to use it to their advantage.

Very good post. I will add, this hasn’t been and most likely never will be, a shooting war. This is the civil war for the soul of America. That’s the reason for our great passion!
Wasn’t picking up that garbage part of the stimulus package to ‘get us on the right road again?’ How’s the hopey, changey thing goin’?
If an old newshound (hes the old-fashioned, honest type) never heard of these stories, then how many millions of Americans are similarly in the dark about what their government is doing?

That is a problem. We’re not watching their media, and they’re not watching ours...
The media continues its “peek-a-boo” reporting. I was there and so were 1000000 to 2000000 other voters.

Nice pictures Jeff. You really captured the spirit of the protest rally.
Robert Fibbs-—good one.
I wonder if we can sue the main stream media of malpractice ?
