There's no doubt the so-called mainstream media turned their collective noses up at the Sept. 12 march on Washington, D.C. to protest the policies of Democratic-controlled federal government - whether in the form of denigration, downplay or outright ignoring the event.
However, conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh has suggested a different tactic. On his Sept. 14 show, Limbaugh proposed a future round of these grassroots protests not take place at the seats of power in government, but instead the headquarters and outposts of the local and national media.
"There have been hundreds and thousands of protests by conservative groups that haven't been covered, and tiny turnouts by the left that are covered," Limbaugh said. "You know all this as well as I do. What about this? We're looking for a force multiplier. Yeah, the protest in Washington on Saturday was great, two million people, but imagine what a force multiplier would be if the next one were held outside of local and national television networks and their headquarters where they can't miss it?"

Something needs to be done.
The MSM has totally gone over the cliff.
God knows...What would we have if it were not for FR, talk radio, and FOX ????
I like to repeat. Anyone that wants to stream radio online.
www.Radiotime.com is a great site.
You can get ALL of the talkers, sports, music...anything that is on the radio. It is FREE.
It is fun, but you get Zero coverage. Protested in front of an ABC affiliate during the ABC Healthscare News a couple of months ago....not one drop of coverage, but IT WAS fun!
Would be good to show up at live ‘on location’ shoots. The weathermen usually do those and they are known at least a day in advance.
If a broadcast is airing outdoors at a festival or ‘happening’, usually during ‘sweeps’, it would be great to rally there too.
I have been thinking that this is where we should be protesting all along.
GREAT idea !
Democrats are nothing without their propaganda arm.
Cut the democrat propaganda arm off- stop consuming their products disseminated through tv news, sitcoms, soaps, ALL of it...
Turn Them Off.
Then show up at their door and rub it in!
AV
I dunno. 500,000 people outside of DNCNN headquarters would make a stir.
Great idea. Keep the pressure on.
But if you protested one, would the OTHERS cover it?
Good plan. No, they can’t ignore it....
It would be wonderful...
I’m available to protest the NY Times pretty much any day but Saturday between now and the end of the year!
LOL, it would be pretty funny.
And find some volunteers to take ample aerial photographs.
Without those pics the whole things gets trashed.
Maybe there would be coverage if the same group that marched on D.C. showed up in NYC.
This kind of action might just serve to invigorate the mainstream media by means of the resulting publicity. The MSM could use their demented and creative talent to negatively present the protests.
The MSM is becoming less relevant every day. Unfortunately the public is deluged with the propaganda every day at airports, hotel and motel rooms, senior citizen centers, and old folks homes.
500,000 people outside of DNCNN headquarters would make a stir.
500,000 people outside of PMSNBC would be more protesters then PMSNBC has viewers.
That should get their attention and work up the crowd's enthusiasm.
Folks might also take the time to locate and document the antennas and satcom dishes used by their local media and cable companies...
That gives us a big opening. The stock of most of those organizations, the NY Slimes being a good example, is in the tank, enabling any one or many of us to buy somewhere between 1 and 100 shares of any given MSM company for not more than the price of an NFL ticket. Owning that stock would give its owner(s) admission to the subject company's annual meeting where it would be possible to ask a host of highly embarrassing, disruptive, relevant questions about the company's bias and the impact of that bias on its earnings. It would also be possible to propose a resolution to set up a special board committee to investigate the company's bias, the impact thereof on corporate earnings, and possible solutions to the problem. This kind of internal corporate action could be supplemented by holding a simultaneous, LOUD, tea party where the annual meeting was being held.
I think you just might have something there...
