I knew he had his good points. What I don’t know is why he’d insist on keeping this off the record.
ABC News reporter Terry Moran caused quite a commotion tonight on Twitter following after writing: “Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a “jackass” for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT’S presidential.”…
Now, an ABC spokesperson explains to POLITICO what happened:
In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview. This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again.
Has he said anything nearly this harsh about the many, many A-holes in his own party who’ve spent the past month demagoging ObamaCare opponents in the most odious terms?

The only dust-up I heard was that Etta James,the origional singer of the song "At Last", was PO'ed because Beyonce was asked to sing the song at the inagural, and STILL is to this day.

Probably the only reason Obama expressed this thought about West is due to his perception that West’s outburst hurts Obama’s current positions by hardening some white folks’ opinion against him in particular and blacks in general. He probably had a similar thought about Serena Williams after her outrageous actions at the US Open.
