Obama calls Kanye a 'jackass'...

ABC News reporter Terry Moran caused quite a commotion tonight on Twitter following after writing: "Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a "jackass" for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential."
Although it wasn't long before Moran removed it, with over a million followers, the tweet quickly bounced around Twitter through various users.
Now, an ABC spokesperson explains to POLITICO what happened:

Look, I'm very close to the polar opposite of an 0bama fan but I believe he needs to be congratulated when he gets somemthing right (especially since this is a very rare occurrence).
Maybe we should keep a running total:
1. "Kanye is an jackass."
2. Giving the "green light" to whack Saleh Ali Nabhan today.

I feel so much better now that he confirmed for me what I said to my daughter earlier in the day.
We both KINDA thought he was a jackass...so this seals it.

Kanye is an idiot. Obama calling West a jack-ass is like a pot calling the kettle...b____k! Ughhh... oh, I can’t say that word now can I? That would be “racist”.
How sad is that? I can’t even say it... and I actually am a color as well. Which one? I ain’t sayin’ because it means nothing and it has nothing to do with what we are fighting for!
MTV probably paid Kanye to go up there an make a scene ...because without that little outburst 90% of the country wouldn’t have known there was an award show on TV.
FOX owns the ratings right now... thank GOD for that.
