Wow, Ft. Greely. My husband has just submitted an application for a job at Ft. Greely. Can anyone add any first hand experience and advice about this place?
We made a visit there in January of 2005 and realy loved Alaska. We stayed in Fairbanks, but made about 3 trips to Ft. Greely while we were there. I would appreciate any opinions.

Kathy,
I'm in Delta, and working at Ft Greely. The weather has been absolutely great! Then again, it's only September....cold is coming. The Sandhill Cranes have been leaving the area in large flocks for the last week. Normally see the last flock of swans leaving in October.

I only visited during the Summer of 2001. A great place. Remote though.
