CNN/ORC poll shows president's approval rating at 58% overall, above 50% on health care, economy, foreign policy and taxes. Up at least four points across the board from the end of August.

Interestingly, not all polls show Obama with a significant bump. The Washington Post/ABC News poll has him 3% lower than the last one, and in Gallup he's at 53% compared to 51% prior to the speech. In Rasmussen there appears to be a healthy bump.
