Some victory. Look at the tags in your clothes and linens. There are virtually no textiles manufactured in the USA now, and the little southern towns have died along with the mills.

Ironically, most of the South is more economically prosperous than it was 30 years ago. Why else do you think the Yankees are moving down there en masse. They weren't doing so in the "Mill Town" days.
BTW: Those mills used to all be in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, until the French Canadians started unionizing.
