A growing number of Republican lawmakers are calling for congressional hearings and IRS audits of ACORN following the release of three videotapes that show the group's employees offering advice to a "pimp" and a "prostitute" on how to skirt the law. Rep. Steve King, R-IA, said a video released Monday that shows filmmaker James O'Keefe, 25, and Hannah Giles, 20, getting advice from ACORN employees in Brooklyn, N.Y., on how to launder their earnings and avoid detection while running a prostitution business is "another reason to turn it up" on ACORN. Four ACORN employees -- two in Baltimore and two in Washington -- were fired late last week after videos showed the "pimp" and "prostitute" getting similar advice in those cities. In those videos, O'Keefe and Giles told the ACORN workers that they intended to bring underage girls into the country to work as prostitutes.

It’s time to start putting these criminals in jail.
I contacted my Representative demanding he support the calls for ACORN being investigated and ending any federal funding. I suggest everyone put pressure on their Congress critters for the same reasons.
Each of those offices should be sealed and searched for evidence of other criminal activity.
A third video is out today about another seperate incident and CNN is urging us to “remember, this is a CONSERVATIVE journalist.”

Congress should step in and shut this ongoing criminal enterprise down. The rot goes all the way from the roots to the top. Cut the tree down and then burn the stump.
This has to become a mantra with a constant drum beat for the politicians and media to take notice.

I think seeing “a few” voters turn up in Washington on Saturday may have gotten them off their collective asses!

Where were they till now? It’s not like no one knew how corrupt they were before. The only difference now is the films.
Isn’t that just the way all pols are? They race to a microphone AFTER something happens or gets uncovered, then they claim their “deep copncern”, etc.
It’s really not ACORN that’s feeling the heat,
it’s the democRats.
They’re going to have to throw ACORN (and their fraud machine) under the bus,
or face the prospect of defending them.
I agree!...Only when the evidence is obvious to a stump, do they show up....
Are all these people liars? Seriously, is there no longer any shame in telling lies? It seems like everyone lies now; the media, the President, Congressmen, Senators, heads of political organizations. There is no lie too big. They’ll get away with whatever they can.
What I especially don’t get though, is why the gullible public allows them to get away with it.
Don’t forget, ACORN can just rename and regroup and continue to get funds. We have to watch out for this.
We can only hope that the investigation goes right to the very core.
These are cockroach organizations and the best way to smack them out is to turn on the lights.
