1. That is my read too. I am not sure there is really anything different enough to call a neutron bomb of journalism, but I bet there is more of the same. Otherwise they would not have been so smug on serveral FNC shows.
2. They are so cocky at ACORN and would not be shredding anything because they know they will be given a pass locally and nationally by prosecutors.

Yes, I cannot believe how the major News Outlets choose not to report about the tapes. Probably after today’s video release and if more, they won’t have a choice but to cover this explosive news story. I like how James O’Keefe referenced CNN, in this interview. These two kids are brilliant.
It is in Acorn/COI’s best interest to let this go. They had been fairly successful—thanks to a friendly Onada Administration—at being able to stay under the radar. If they had a smidgeon of brains they’d try to make themselves invisible again.
I don’t think their smart enough, on their own (uhoh, I must be a racist), to go quiet. Instead, their default reaction will be to resort to thuggery. Just like happened at the DC rally when the ACORN/COI goon hit the Onadacare protester who was dogging them. To his credit he did not hit back.
The best part of that incident was seeing the three goons hounded off to the sidelines where they eventually sort of melted away. Earlier in the summer I remember seeing a Tea Party crowd, I think in Texas, hound bus loads ACORN/COI thugs away from their rally. The goons were obviously non-plussed that the crowd was not impressed with their implicit threat of violence.
Reagan firing all, all of the air traffic controllers. Not since Calvin Coolidge had we seen a Republican with such spine.
I can’t imagine Missy Mitt pulling the trigger on anything. ACORN could crap in his hat and he would put in on and smile. Mitt couldn’t even get rid of two illegal landscapers. The, mostly, high school educated Massachusetts Legislature ran circles around him, except when he joined in happily in a great big oil and naked socialist orgy to pass RomneyCare(TM).( I suppose if you really wanted to give birth to a socialist monster, a political love fest with Democrats is a way to start. It worked for ‘Mr. Conservative’.)
I’m so glad to see our side fighting back as well.
