And guess which company will take it in the shorts the most? GM?

Look at the bright side, GM employee's can anticipate government sanctioned health care paid for by taxpayers.

He!! of a political payback to the unions, eh?

I will NEVER EVER buy a vehicle manufactured in Detroit ever again!

Toyota here I come!

Why Toyota? Toyota quality has been suffering. If you are going to go foreign, at least buy a quality Hyundai.

As for American cars, the Fords have been increasing in quality as Toyota has been slipping.

The new Taurus is really nice.

Many buyers bought foreign cars. Trade in union built crap with 100K miles if lucky, for a Toyota that certainly would see 200K and no costly repairs.

I hear ya. I’ve been a Ford man for years, sortof through the back door. We bought a Mercury Villager around 1996, and have leased or purchased three of their other cars (SUVs) since. They’ve been good vehicles. One of them we’ve now driven for nine years. That one will be replaced in a year or so.
