Up But (Bammy) Still Down
American Spectator ^ | SEPTEMBER 13, 2009 | Doug Bandow

President Barack Obama is doing better in the approval rating game, but he's still behind. According to Rasmussen Reports:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 34% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-eight percent (38%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -4. That's the President's best Approval Index rating in over a month (see trends).

It doesn't bode well for him if his well-delivered speech didn't move him into positive territory. He's almost certainly irretrievably lost the fiscal issue, and budget arguments will reassert themselves after the glow fades from his talk. On both health care and cap and trade, he loses as soon as the discussion goes from general (reform) to specific (tax and regulate).

Poor Frank doesn’t like the news, it’s all a plot.

The rasmussen poll is total garbage-it is a new system designed especially to discredit Obama. Rasmussen is republican operated propaganda machine. NO OTHER POLLS HAVE SHOWED OBAMA’S UNFAVORABLES HIGHER THAN HIS FAVORABLES——OPEN YOUR EYES WINGNUT!

0bama will be back into positive territory by the end of the week. I knew the speech would serve him well. Americans are too damned stupid to see past the charade. Several people at my work who were turning against him are back on his side after the speech. One even said “I like 0bama beacuse he speaks better than Bush.”

Most Americans are stupid and in the end will support his Marxist agenda because he’s “cool” and “ a moving orator”

Guess they will have to target their polls to 95% Democrats so they can fix it.

Obooboo better talk to the airheads every night, or he is going to lose bigger than Carter did after his first term. Even the koolaid drinkers are taking a second look at the 0 solution.

The polls are all right when the Zer0 wins. But not good when he drops, huh ?
